Post office in Smokvica is open from Monday to Friday in the morning, and offices in biggest places on the island (Vela Luka, Korcula) working all day during the tourist season. Post offices do not operate on Sundays and public holidays. In Smokvica and Brna are mailboxes.
Internet connection is available at all hotels and some private accomodations. There are also several cafés offering this service.
Currency, payments, tax free

Banks are open in Smokvica from Monday till Saturday in the mornings and there are also cash machines in Smokvica and Brna.

Smokvica is connected with other place in the island by a local bus line which is scheduled couple times on day.
Every day are bus line to Dubrovnik and Zagreb, and during the summer season is a buses to Sarajevo, Mostar and Belgrade
